This new iPad Mini 7.9 -inch screen , supports display resolution1024 x 768 pixels capped at 163 dots per inch ( dpi ), and it comes in two versions WiFi and WiFi +3 G and in two colors : black and slate, silvery white . It is 23% thinner and 53 % lighter than the iPad 3rd Generation : 20 cm x 13.47 cm x 0.72 cm thick, with a weight of 308g ( 3G version around 312g ) .

iPad Mini runs on iOS6 operating system 

It sports a dual - core A5 processor, 16 , 32 or 64GB of alternative storage , FaceTime HD camera ( 1.2 megapixel photos , 720p HD video , face detection ), and digital iSight camera (5 megapixel photos , autofocus , face detection, backside lighting sensors )

1080p HD video recording with stability , battery 10 hours, gyroscope , accelerometer , digital compass .

iPad 4

Tim Cook also introduced the fourth generation of the iPad just six months after the first version left many iPad 3 owners angry for getting 500 buck devices outdated in just 6 months .

This time 4 generation iPad is capped with a touch screen 9.7-inch Retina Display, A6X chip which offers twice the performance , battery that lasts more than 10 hours, FaceTime HD and enhanced wireless connectivity and faster. Apple has not provided complete information on specifications and features

iPad 4 Pricing

The price starts at $ 499 and go up to $ 829 for the 3G/WiFi version of 64GB .

I personally would prefer to buy an iPad 4 , where I do it with just shelling out the extra 100 or 200 bucks. Let me know your opinion through comments .
